Active Nation Day. September 24, 2017

YOUR MOVE MATTERS

Five years ago, Lorna Jane Clarkson created Active Nation Day.

Lorna’s vision was to dedicate the last Sunday of September every year to inspiring each other to move in a bid to fight the growing number of alarming health issues facing the world today.

Since 1980, worldwide obesity has more than doubled while 31% of the world’s population languishes with insufficient exercise.

Heart disease has become the leading cause of death worldwide.

Our aim is to have a national day of Active Living recognised on the Australian calendar and then the world!

Join the 60,000 voices who want a recognised Active Nation Day.
